Marble's first produced the Safety Axe in 1892. This is the first Marble's Safety Axe since 1959. The design is based on the Model #4 that was produced until 1912. The 4.25 inch head is forged 1085 carbon steel. The handle is made of hickory. The overall length is 11.5 inches.
