Famous for their fixed blade hunting knives, Marbles at one time did produce a line of pocketknives. The story goes that Webster Marble was so unsatified with the quality of the pocketknives that he dumped the inventory into Lake Michigan. With their regular knife production in full swing, Marbles decided to reintroduce its pocketknives in 2001.
They came out with seven different designs that were widely successful. The mirror-finished blades are made from 1095 high carbon steel (just like the vintage ones). All frames are high quality American brass with nickel silver bolsters patterned in the Marble Safety Axe Co. style. The blades are marked to signify the date of production.
